Transportation company sues youth program over $8,800 debt

GRETNA – A transportation company is seeking nearly $9,000 from a children's learning center, claiming it was never paid for services delivered.

Honors Transporation LLC filed a complaint against Sean Tate and DiscoveryFest Enrichment Program LLC on Feb. 4 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff states that the defendant has been negligent in paying off a balance due in the amount of $8,800, thus breaching a contractual agreement with the plaintiff.

Honors Transporation is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The company is represented by Larry E. Demmons of The Demmons Law Firm LLC in Metairie.


The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner Jr.
