Credit company seeks $15,500 on an unpaid auto loan

GRETNA – A Volkswagen finance company is seeking more than $15,500 it claims due on an unpaid loan.

VW Credit Inc. filed a complaint against Thrishon Riley on Feb. 12 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff states that the defendant is indebted for the balance of $15,511.02 plus interest after they failed to maintain their monthly payments on a vehicle financed by the plaintiff.

VW Credit is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Cris R. Jackson of Jackson & McPherson LLC in New Orleans.


The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael P. Mentz.
