Asher-Meyers alleges law firm owes $67,000 for testimony

GRETNA – A New Orleans forensic accounting and expert witness testimony provider is suing a Texas law firm for more than $66,000, alleging that it was not paid for services delivered.

Asher-Meyers LLC filed a complaint against Kennard Miller Hernandez PC on Feb. 20 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff states it provided services for which the defendant agreed to pay $66,707.42. However, the suit claims the defendant remains negligent for the balance plus interest.

Asher-Meyers is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Michael R. Allweiss of Lowe, Stein, Hoffman, Allweiss & Hauver LLP in New Orleans.


The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner Jr.
