OneMain Financial seeks more than $10,000 on an open account

NEW ORLEANS – A financial company is seeking more than $10,000 in sums due.

OneMain Financial Group LLC, successor by merger to OneMain Financial of Louisiana Inc., as servicer for ASF Wilmington Trust as issuer loan trustee for Springleaf Funding Trust 2015-A, filed a complaint on Feb. 20 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Marsha A. Thomas

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off an account balance of $10,854 plus interest. The plaintiff alleges defendant has failed to pay off the account despite amicable demand.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Naomi Cohen Ivker of Zarzaur & Schwarz in Birmingham, Alabama.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern Reese.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 2019-1956.
