Woman sues Dollar General for negligence after alleged fall

NEW ORLEANS – A woman is suing Dollar General after alleging that she was injured at one of the retailer's properties.

Brittany Miller filed a complaint against DolgenCorp LLC, dba Dollar General, on Feb. 20 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court. According to the lawsuit, Miller states that she was caused to slip and fall on liquid that had been left on the ground, causing her to be injured, when she was at the Dollar General store located at 5700 Crowder Blvd. on April 3, 2018. The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. Miller is represented by attorney Zachary R. Christiansen of The Bowling Law Firm in New Orleans.


The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette R. Irons.
