GRETNA – A man claims that he fell on uneven ground at a casino.
Edward Monnin filed a complaint on Feb. 26 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Treasure Chest Casino LLC and Boyd Gaming Corp.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Feb. 28, 2018, when the plaintiff alleges he was caused to be injured due to an uneven section of floor of a ramp. The plaintiff was caused injuries due to the defendant's alleged negligence.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Richard Barker IV of Richard, Hobbs, Barker IV in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald Rowan Jr.
