Woman carrying baby claims she was caused to fall on a Sprint store's poorly maintained steps

GRETNA – A couple is suing a Sprint store franchisee, alleging they were caused to slip and fall while holding their baby.

Shannon and Taylor Carroll, on behalf of their minor child, filed a complaint on March 27 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Lipsey Communications LLC, dba Connectivity Source SNL LLC, and OneBeacon Services LLC.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place when the plaintiffs visited a Sprint store at 2141 Veterans Memorial Highway in Kenner. The plaintiffs allege Taylor Carroll was caused to slip and fall while holding her daughter due to a poorly maintained condition of the stairs.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by David Bravo of Bravo Law Firm in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
