GRETNA – A man is suing a title group alleging that he was not given a portion of sales as was required by contract.
David Drago filed a complaint on April 3 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Experience Title Group LLC and Donna Drago. According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that began on October 17, 2018 when Experience Title Group passed an act of sale on the property located at 6 Macomb Ct., Kenner, that was equally split between the plaintiff David Drago and defendant Donna Drago.
The plaintiff retained the services of counsel on October 18, 2018 and sent a letter to the defendant advising the defendant that the plaintiff would allow the sale to go forward, but the defendant failed to issue proceeds of the sale to the plaintiff in the amount owed. The defendant is accused of breach of contract.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. Mr. Drago is represented by Joseph R. McMahon III in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.
