A Mississippi woman says she suffered severe nerve damage after undergoing surgery to insert an implant.

Ashley Page Greene filed her complaint against Nevro Corporation, The Neuromedical Center PLC and Dr. Charles Bowie.

According to the complaint, Greene suffered severe nerve damage following surgery for the implantation of a Nevro spinal cord stimulator performed by Bowie at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge.

After the surgery, Greene says she experienced extreme back pain and loss of balance, eventually requiring assistance to walk. Despite multiple consultations with Bowie and contact with a Nevro representative about her worsening symptoms, it wasn't until mid-2023 that she was advised to have the stimulator removed.

Despite its removal in September 2023, Greene claims to have suffered permanent nerve damage and is now unable to walk unaided or live independently. She accuses Bowie of failing to undertake prompt diagnostic measures or medical intervention despite her declining neuro-motor function.
