Halliburton Energy Services and Halliburton Technology Partners filed the federal lawsuit against Weatherford U.S. L.P..
In the complaint, Halliburton claims Weatherford infringed on Halliburton's patent for a to shunt tube system to deliver sand control materials within subterranean wells.
Halliburton seeks compensatory damages.
