A rigger has filed a lawsuit for injuries sustained from an on-the-job accident.
Jamarius Coleman filed his lawsuit in federal court against Cantium LLC, Allison Offshore Services LLC and Allison Offshore Services II LLC.
According to the complaint, Coleman was working on an offshore platform August 17, 2023, when he slipped on metal stairs on the platform and fell from a height of approximately six steps from the bottom of the stairwell.
Coleman claims his injuries were directly caused by the negligence and/or gross negligence of the defendants.
He seeks compensatory damages and other relief.
