GRETNA – A corporate retailer is being sued by a woman who claims she was permanently disabled in a slip and fall at one of their local stores. Jill Tombar filed suit against TJX Companies Inc. and their insurer in the 24th Judicial District Court on July 10. Tombar claims claims she was shopping at the TJ Maxx located at 6601 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Metairie on July 12, 2014 when she slipped in a large puddle and fell to the floor.
