Three Orleans Parish residents, who were also deckhands, are suing their former boat captain and demanding a jury trial for injuries allegedly suffered during a crash on waters near Plaquemines Parish.

According to the complaint, on or about Sept. 8, 2012, the DeQueen, a large fishing vessel, collided with an object in the Southwest Pass with the impact throwing the three deckhands about and caused them personal injuries.

Son Tran, Phuong Tran and Tuan Tran are being represented by Anh Quang Cao and Ryan Beasley of the Cao Law Firm in Harvey.
