Little Beautiful Minds alleged to owe on loan

Late 04

GRETNA – A child care business in Metairie is alleged to have defaulted on a loan.

CAN Capital Asset Servicing Inc., formerly known also as NewLogic Business Loans Inc., assignee of WebBank Corp. filed a suit against Brownstone Investments LLC, doing business as Little Beautiful Minds, and Bryant Brown in the 24th Judicial District Court on June 1.

According to the claim, the defendants entered into a business loan agreement in 2014 with the plaintiff in which the plaintiff agreed to loan an amount of money with the understanding that it would be paid back. The suit states that the defendants, however, defaulted on the agreement and failed to pay an amount of more than $25,000 to the plaintiff.

The defendants are accused of breach of contract and breach of guarantee through their failure to make payments as stated in the agreement.

The plaintiff is seeking the unpaid loan amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Louis W. Delahaye of Canova and Delahaye in Plaquemine. The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner Jr.
