Contractor alleges it was not paid for completed work

NEW ORLEANS – A contractor is seeking damages, claiming that it was not paid for completed work.

Ted Hebert LLC filed a suit against Parkcrest Builders LLC and Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on June 13.

According to the claim, the plaintiff entered into a contract with Parkcrest for labor on two projects in Orleans Parish. The suit states that he was not fully paid for the work completed on either of the projects and is still owed $500,416.50 for one and $103,193.08 on the second.

The defendants are accused of failure to pay the plaintiff for the work he completed.

The plaintiff is seeking $603,609.58 in damages. It is represented by G. Steven Duplechain of Baton Rouge. The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher J. Bruno.
