Company alleges retailer didn't pay for delivered goods

GRETNA – A company has filed suit against a retailer, claiming it was never paid for goods it delivered to the defendant.

Rumpelstiltskin Deal LLC filed suit against Bourbon Street Trading Co. Inc.  in the 24th Judicial District Court, First Parish Court for the Parish of Jefferson, on July 27.

According to the claim, the plaintiff provided goods to the defendant for which the defendant is still indebted for more than $4,000.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Lance J. Arnold and Brodie G. Glenn.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.
