IberiaBank alleges Jefferson Parish man owes more than $7,000

GRETNA – IberiaBank is seeking more than $7,000 for a loan allegedly in default.

IberiaBank filed a suit against Jason West in the 24th Judicial District Court on Aug. 23.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was issued a promissory note by the defendant in May 2015 and has allegedly failed to pay off the amount listed in the note of more than $7,000.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $7,312.60 in damages, plus interest. The plaintiff is represented by Robert A. Mathis of Newman, Mathis, Brady and Spedale of Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.
