NEW ORLEANS – A Kenner carpet sales company alleges a Metairie company owes it for work it completed.
Gil's Carpet Sales Inc. filed a suit against 210 Baronne LLC in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on April 21.
According to the claim, the plaintiff delivered services to the defendant but was allegedly never paid for the work that was completed. The suit states that the plaintiff has already made demands for payment but has yielded no results.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract through failure to pay.
The plaintiff is seeking $578,145.42 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Jonathan S. Forester, Alexis K. Caughey and Christopher K. LeMieux of Blue Williams in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney H. Cates IV.
