NEW ORLEANS – American Express is seeking more than $22,000 from an Orleans Parish woman.
American Express Centurion Bank filed a suit against Kristine Dickson in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Nov. 3.
According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant used the card to make more than $22,000 in purchases without ever paying off the balance.
The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.
The plaintiff is seeking $22,416.57 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Edward F. Bukaty III and Warren W. Wingerter Jr. in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
