Capital One Bank seeks damages from Jefferson Parish man

GRETNA – Capital One Bank is seeking more than $7,000.

Capital One Bank filed a suit against Edward H. Newman in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 15.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant failed to pay off more than $7,000 in open charges.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $7,638.41 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch and Randall C. Roth of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.
