NEW ORLEANS – A woman claims that she was attacked by a dog while walking near Erato Street.
Travilia Clark filed a suit against Emily Taylor, Melinda Taylor, Daniel Taylor, et al. in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Nov. 10.
According to the claim, the plaintiff was attacked by the defendants' dog on Dec. 8, 2015, while walking a child to school. The defendants are accused of negligence through allowing the dog to be unrestrained.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by John J. Burke of New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.
