NEW ORLEANS – A law firm alleges it was not paid by a client.
Stone Pigman Walther Wittmann LLC filed a suit against Jeffery Amann in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Nov. 2.
According to the claim, the plaintiff provided legal services to the defendant for his divorce in 2014 but was never paid in full.
The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.
The plaintiff is seeking $101,942.41 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Maggie A. Broussard of Stone Pigman Walther Wittmann LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Regina Bartholomew Woods.
