NEW ORLEANS – A law firm is suing an accounting firm, alleging the defendant's negligence caused the plaintiff's demise.
Valery P. "Val: Exnicios, doing business as Liska, Exnicios & Nungesser, filed a suit Dec. 21 against South & Thomas LLC, Certified Public Accountants & Tom South in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging negligence and breach of contract.
According to the claim, the defendants failed to keep up with its communications and caused the plaintiff not to be paid.
The plaintiff seeks compensatory damages and court costs. is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Val Patrick Exnicios.
The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Paula A. Brown.
