Capital One alleges customers owe more than $150,000

NEW ORLEANS – Capital One is suing two customers, alleging failure to pay more than $157,000.

Capital One N.A. filed a suit Nov. 28 against George Cunnikin Jr. and Cassandra Bowie Cunnikin of Lake Charles in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging failure to pay in a timely manner.

According to the complaint, the Cunnikins are truly indebted to Capital One for $157,641.51, plus interest. The suit states there have been no payments made on the balance.

Capital One seeks $157,641.51, plus interest in damages. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Michael Jedynak of Dean Morris LLC in Monroe.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette R. Irons.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case number 16-11595.
