GRETNA – A design firm is being sued for breach of contract for allegedly failing to complete a contract to design a customer’s home. Jason Adams and Melissa Adams filed suit against Interior Motives Design & Decor Inc. in the 24th Judicial District Court on April 28. The Adamses assert they entered into a contract with Interior Motives Design & Decor Inc. to provide design for a home to be built on a property located at 3908 Edenborn in Metairie.

NEW ORLEANS – Xavier University of Louisiana is being sued by a woman who owns a piece of property neighboring the university’s campus claiming it developed a building on her property without her permission. Leola Williams filed suit against Xavier University of Louisiana in Orleans Parish District Court on April 10.
