NEW ORLEANS – Two subcontractors allegedly completed defective concrete work at the construction site of an auto parts store in St. Charles Parish.

Donald Dawson, Dawson Construction Co. of Louisiana LLC and Kimbel Development LLC filed a suit against Aubrey Howard, Lynzy Howard, United Specialty, Frank Crum Insurance and 3rd Millennium Insurance and Financial Services in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Aug. 4.

The defendants are accused of breach of contract by failing to complete the job to the original specifications.

The plaintiffs are seeking an unspecified amount in damages. They are represented by James M. Dill and David P. Vial II of The Dill Firm APLC in Lafayette

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.
