NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Redevelopment Authority is suing a couple and the City of New Orleans in attempt to reclaim a piece of property. New Orleans Redevelopment Authority filed suit against Bonnie Irving, Bruce Anthony Derbigny and the City of New Orleans on April 14 in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court. NEW ORLEANS – A man who claims he was severely injured when a radial saw cut through his hand on the job is suing the owners of the property where the incident occurred and his insurer. Carlos Alvardo filed suit against Marco Velasquez Vigil, El-Amm Mark and their insurer on April 14 in the Orleans Parish District Court. The plaintiff claims that on Oct. 24, 2014 he was performing physical labor on a property owned by the defendants in New Orleans.

NEW ORLEANS – A man who claims he was severely injured when a radial saw cut through his hand on the job is suing the owners of the property where the incident occurred and his insurer.

Leola Williams filed suit against Xavier University of Louisiana in Orleans Parish District Court on April 10. Williams claims that in 2014 the defendant constructed a building as well as a fence, which gradually moved onto her property.
