NEW ORLEANS (Louisiana Record) — New Orleans attorney Hilliard Charles Fazande III faces possible suspension following a Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board (LADB) recommendation to the state Supreme Court over a complaint filed against him by a former client.

NEW ORLEANS – Judge Sarah Vance of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana said in a June 20 opinion that her decision to dismiss a defective medical products lawsuit was based more on the plaintiff's attorneys' failure to construct a convincing argument and a lack of detail than on the merits of the plaintiff's claims.

NEW ORLEANS - A mother filed a lawsuit June 25 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, claiming that Sorin Group Deutschland GMBH and Sorin Group USA Inc., which does business as Liva Nova PLC, were to blame for an allegedly faulty medical device that was used on her daughter during heart surgery at the Children's Hospital in New Orleans.
