LADB recommends suspension for Alexandria attorney

NEW ORLEANS — Alexandria attorney Darrell K. Hickman faces the possibility of a partially deferred suspension following a recommendation issued Feb. 8 by a Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board (LADB) hearing committee over allegations in two client matters.

Judge to rule on $1.1 million Mississippi River collision case

NEW ORLEANS — Trial concluded this week in a Port Allen towing vessel owner's more than $1.1 million lawsuit against a Kentucky transport company over a 2016 collision on the Mississippi River, after moving ahead with a witness to which the transport company objected.
