NEW ORLEANS — A daughter serving as her deceased mother's estate representative has filed a class-action lawsuit against Ochsner Medical Center - North Shore LLC and Ochsner Health System, alleging unlawful discriminatory practices and deliberate indifference.

GRETNA – A hospital and a group of doctors are being sued for allegedly not properly monitoring a stroke victim and improperly providing him with solid food that allegedly contributed to his death.
GRETNA – A diabetic patient who had to undergo an amputation is suing a doctor he claims could have saved his leg. Michael David Howard filed suit against Dr. Kathleen Williams, Jefferson Parish Human Services Authority and Jeffcare-Weft Jefferson in the 24th Judicial District Court on May 7. Howard asserts on January 2014 he went to the Jeffcare-Weft Jefferson in Marrero complaining of pain and discomfort in his foot.

Naomi Sewell filed suit against Rupinderjit Dillon M.D., Daniel Morin M.D., Richard Milani M.D., Nanette LeBlanc FNP, Ochsner Clinic Foundation and Ochsner Medical Center in the 24th Judicial District Court on April 27. Sewell alleges that on Oct. 12, 2011 she was admitted to the Ochsner Medical Cente
