GRETNA – A car insurer is suing a local hospital and an ambulance driver who allegedly ran a red light and totaled a vehicle. State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, as a partial subrogee of James Langford, filed suit against Jason Bergeron, Jefferson Parish Hospital Service District No. 2, Parish of Jefferson, State of Louisiana and East Jefferson General Hospital in the 24th Judicial District Court on June 23.
GRETNA – A man is suing his neighbors after he allegedly was attacked by their dog while cutting his grass. Charles McLoughlin filed suit against William Fraser, Sally Fraser and their insurer in the 24th Judicial District Court on June 22.

NEW ORLEANS – A tile company is suing a construction company for which it completed work, claiming that all work was done in a complete and timely manner, but that the defendant has failed to pay.

An Alabama-based company is suing a St. Martin Parish industrial firm, alleging breach of contract in regard to a 2011 purchase order which the plaintiff says was not satisfied.
NEW ORLEANS – A New Orleans woman is suing the New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board claiming that she was walking toward a dessert shop when she tripped over an unsecured water meter and severely sprained her ankle.
